Rich and expressive, with well-ripened red and black berry fruit lifted by a touch of spice and liquorice, with silky tannins and good persistent finish.
We have listed this wine for many years, it was formally known as Chusclan, Cote du Rhone Villages.
The Cave des Vignerons de Laudun, (established in 1925) joined forces with the Vignerons de Chusclan (est. 1939) to form the Laudun Chusclan Vignerons group. The vineyards belonging to the
Laudun Chusclan Vignerons, are both part of the Côtes du Rhône Villages AOC area, on the right bank of the river Rhône some 15 km from Châteauneuf du Pape.
50% grenache, 30% carignan, 15% syrah, 5% mourvedre.
