This natural organic wine is crisp and savoury with a touch of salinity from the ripe fruit, the mouthfeel is fresh with a satisfying and flavoursome finish.
Winemaking is natural and the alcohol remains 11% so refreshingly light, bottled in early December with no ageing on lees.
Pierre-Henri’s decision to name the variety – Melon Blanc – on the label means the wine can only be classified as a Vin de France, even though it originates from one of the finest areas of Muscadet in the Loire.
