    Participated in the Italian wine discovery virtual tasting. I hadn’t had a lot of experience on Italian wines, and this was a great way to learn. Charles & Rosie had invited a great host who knew plenty about the Italian regions. It dispelled a lot of my preconceptions, predominantly from enter level wines I’d tasted previously. I will certainly be trying more Italian wines after this excellent tasting experience. Can’t wait for the next country/region for Charles and Rosie to help us delve into.

    The Journey through Italy tasting was an absolute delight. Each wine was made even more enjoyable by Elena’s passion, charm and sense of humour. Primitivo is one of our favourite coiffing wines and Zensa did not disappoint. Charles and Rosie are superb hosts and know their wines inside out with a wide range of excellent wines to taste. We look forward to trying their and Elena’s gin, and definitely the Wine Dinner!

    We hugely enjoyed the virtual tasting which was a fund raising event for local church. Charles and Rosie pitched it exactly right for the event in terms of the four wines, the fascinating and relevant information of all kinds, their patience with a mixed bunch of widely varying knowledge and making it all so entertaining and interesting which was exactly what was needed. Brilliant!

We did 5 half bottles and had a great range of wine and found some new favourites. The suggestion of a cheese pairing was a great idea too. This is the second I’ve done and I would recommend to anyone.

    The day after our first virtual tasting and we are already looking to book the next one! Four great and varied wines that Charles delivered a couple of days in advance to each of the four couples involved. Even recommended different cheese to accompany which made it even more interesting. A group of friends finally able to taste, learn and laugh together. Charles and Rosie have encyclopaedic knowledge but pass this on in such a simple and easy to understand way. Highly recommended

    What a fabulous virtual wine tasting on Feb the 20th. I can thoroughly recommend Charles and Rosie as amazing hosts. Great wines and being able to taste and discuss them with a number of enthusiasts and people in the business was really inciteful. Some excellent banter, and no taxi home. If you want to discover more about wines then this is a great way of doing it with Nethergate Wines

    Such a great balance of fun, lively and educational chat with some great interaction from suppliers and others in the industry.

    We had an online wine tasting event for clients and it was great fun and a real lockdown treat for everyone. The wines were delicious and Charles was an excellent host, imparting knowledge in a really relaxed way. Thoroughly recommend !

    This was the second wine tasting I had arranged with Charles as a thank you for work referrers. There were 8 of us aiming to spend a couple of leisurely hours at the event but we finally wound up after 3 hours and it had become a virtual party. For me it was just as interesting and informative as the first tasting and I would heartily recommend these events.

    I organised a virtual wine testing via Zoom for about a dozen groups/couples in our village recently. It was a most enjoyable evening, led by Charles who supplied 4 interesting and very drinkable wines. A really good social event in the Lockdown. Highly recommended.

    I was involved in a Virtual Wine Tasting during the Christmas Period, we actually did this as a virtual Christmas party for my company. The wine was delivered perfectly and promptly. Charles was incredibly knowledgable and educational, the wines were divine and I will be ordering some of the dessert wine we tasted at least once a month. Will certainly book again and encourage anyone else to do so too. Really great evening, thoroughly enjoyed.

Charles managed all the deliveries very efficiently (including one to Versailles!) and then gave us an educational and highly enjoyable wine tasting. We would certainly book again, the perfect way to connect with friends during lockdown
