Led by Malbec, the red wines of Argentina have grown rapidly in popularity over the last few years. One of our best-loved Argentinian wines continues to be Malbec los Haroldos. Bodega Los Haroldos is owned by the Falasco family, who have been producing their wines at premier high-altitude vineyard sites in Mendoza for over seventy years. Octavio Rufino Falasco emigrated from Italy to Argentina in 1939 and initially sold his wine from a basket on the front of his bike. Over time, he bought more land and established a winery in San Martin, now led by third-generation Jorge Daniel Falasco. We also stock their white Torrontes and the new red Bonarda.
